Toyota C-HR in Perth and Dundee
With advanced driving aids like Simple Intelligent Parking Assist and a powerful petrol-hybrid engine, the Toyota C-HR takes smart to another level.
Power comes from a 1.8 hybrid engine with 122hp or a 2.0 hybrid with 184hp. These return up to 57.6mpg and 54.3mpg combined respectively. There’s a smooth automatic gearbox and 3 drive modes - Eco, Normal and Power - so you can tune the feel of your car, which can be soft and comfy or sporty for a bit of fun on open roads.
Trim levels include Icon, Design, Excel and GR Sport. Features in the range include an 8” touchscreen with navigation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an electronic parking brake, full LED headlights, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, Smart Entry, Rear Cross Traffic Alert with Blind Spot Detection and Toyota Safety Sense 2.
Shun ordinary your way. The C-HR’s sculpted body, SUV stance and high-end features like LED headlights and 19” alloys deliver unbeatable style. GR Sport models get sportier styling with tinted adaptive LED headlights and a GR Sport body kit.
The C-HR sets off silently on electric power in start and stop traffic. As the speed builds up, the petrol engine kicks in seamlessly with the electric motor filling in power gaps. This is a smooth and responsive car to drive with epic efficiency.
The boot offers up a useful 377-litres of load space and you can split-fold the rear seats 60-40. The boot has a false floor with a little extra storage. Design models onwards have Smart Entry (keyless entry), privacy glass and heated front seats.
Living with it
The C-HR makes life easier with a suite of driving aids. Design models have front and rear parking sensors and Simple Intelligent Parking Assist. Excel models get Rear Cross Traffic Alert with Automatic Braking and Blind Spot Monitor.
