Design

With its prominent central grille flanked by large air intakes, arching spoiler, slick alloy wheels and dual-tip exhaust, the GR Supra means business. Inside, the cockpit cocoons you in plush materials with dual 8.8” displays at your command.

Drive

The exhaust has a motor-actuated variable valve-timing system that gives precise control of the valves (basically, it can be LOUD or quiet). The 2.0 and 3.0 twin-turbo engines are paired with a slick, responsive eight-speed automatic transmission

Practicality

The GR Supra’s 290-litre boot is a little more than you get in the Yaris, and you can remove the rear panel to stow long items. It’s perfect for weekend getaways, with 3.0 Pro models getting a luggage net and a 12v power socket in the boot.

Living with it

Despite its wicked performance and striking good looks, the GR Supra is a refined cruiser with good ride quality and manners. Drive Mode Select lets you dial down the performance, while Adaptive Cruise Control lets you sit back and enjoy the ride.
