Toyota Hilux in Perth and Dundee
Tougher and more comfortable than ever, the Hilux is capable in all the right places. It’s powered by a 2.4 or 2.8-litre diesel engine with 500Nm of torque, returning up to 32.8 mpg combined. Manual or automatic gearboxes are available and the 4x4 system is the best in the business with a rear differential lock fitted as standard. The Hilux is also available with a Single, Extra or Double Cab for any line of work.
Active, Icon, Invincible and Invincible X trim levels are available. Active models offer the option of a Single, Extra or Double Cab. All other models have a Double Cab. Icon models get a reversing camera and an 8” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Invincible models get LED headlights, heated front seats and keyless entry. Invincible X models boast a JBL sound system, powered front seats and navigation.
The Hilux is known for its toughness, but this new model takes the cake. It’s built to conquer any terrain and look awesome doing it. Invincible models ride on 18” alloy wheels and stand out with LED headlights. Invincible X models have stylish black alloys.
Active and Icon models are powered by the 2.4 diesel engine while higher-spec models get the 2.8 diesel, which kicks out 500Nm of torque. There are selectable drive modes including a PWR and ECO mode. The 4x4 system has H2, H4 and L4 modes.
Double Cab models have luxurious accommodation for five passengers. All models have a 3,500kg braked tow capacity and a payload capacity of 1,000kg+. Invincible models come as standard with Smart Entry & Push-button Start.
Living with it
With heated and powered front seats, automatic air conditioning and a suite of driving aids including front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera and Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control available, the Hilux is as sweet to live with as an SUV.
