All New Proace Electric in Perth and Dundee
The Proace Electric conquers last mile deliveries and all-day driving, with a WLTP certified range up to 205 miles with the 75kWh battery and 143 miles with the 50kWh battery. When plugged into a 100kW charger, the 50kWh battery can be charged to 80% in 32 minutes or 48 minutes with the 75kWh battery. And it does all this with the same quality and load-carrying practicality of its diesel-powered equivalent.
The Proace Electric has a load capacity of 5.8m3 to 6.1m3, a one tonne tow capacity and a payload capacity over one tonne. The WLTP electric range figures are certified with a 50% payload and there’s an 8-year warranty on the batteries. One trim level is offered - Icon - which gets a 7” touchscreen with smartphone connectivity, cruise control, electric windows, air conditioning and automatic headlights and wipers.
The Proace Electric is thoughtfully designed with twin sliding side doors, an acoustic windscreen, a steel bulkhead and a 12v power outlet in the cargo area. The exterior is stylish and confident, with 16” steel wheels and LED daytime running lights.
Power, Normal and Eco modes let you tune the way the Proace Electric responds at the press of a button, with up to 134bhp and 260Nm of torque on tap instantly. The smooth drive is superior to diesel and all models have rear parking sensors.
The sliding side doors are wide enough for Euro pallets. With a 2,512mm floor load length (3,674mm floor load length with Smart Cargo) and a 1,258mm max load width between the arches, the Proace Electric is built to transport large deliveries.
Living with it
With a full charge costing around £6 and 143 to 205 miles of range, the Proace Electric makes economic sense. It also has all the kit you want as standard, like cruise control, rear parking sensors, a 7” touchscreen and Apple CarPlay.
