Rifter in Perth Perthshire, Dundee Angus
When you can’t compromise on space, the Peugeot Rifter delivers. This family leisure vehicle is available with a standard body with 5 seats or a long body with 7 seats. Twin sliding side doors with keyless entry make access simple. In five seat mode, the standard body has a colossal 775-litre boot, while the long body has a 1,050-litre boot, expanding to a ridiculous 4,000-litres with the second row dropped.
Allure, Allure Premium and GT trim grades are available. All have an electric parking brake and rear parking sensors. Allure Premium adds rear parking sensors, a 180° reversing camera, electric rear windows, 16” alloy wheels, power-folding door mirrors and an opening tailgate window. GT models boast front, lateral and rear parking sensors, Blind Spot Monitoring System, 17” alloys and PEUGEOT Open and Go.
The Rifter is all about space. The stylish body gives way to a modular cabin, with long versions getting two independent and removable sliding third row seats. All versions have a clever full width front overhead storage shelf.
Although it has van-like proportions, the Rifter drives like a car. It has a short turning circle and class-leading powertrains with 1.2 PureTech 110 and 130 engines available, or BlueHDi diesels with 100 or 130hp depending on the trim level.
The spacious cabin offers abundant passenger space, and the boot is enormous. In seven seat mode, the long version has a 209-litre boot, or 1,050-litres with the two seats dropped. Twin sliding side doors come equipped as standard for easy access.
Living with it
With five or seven seats, a manual or automatic gearbox and three exciting trim levels, there’s a Peugeot Rifter for everyone. All models have an 8.0" capacitive colour touchscreen with Mirror Screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
